Not just a blog; a movement for creative leaders
Welcome to post 50 of The Ideas Machine and our relaunch as a blog by, and for creative leaders.
If you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you and welcome to post 50 of The Ideas Machine! insert confetti cannons here! We’re making a few changes here, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
Ideate
Before anyone panics, TIM (The Ideas Machine) isn’t changing massively, just pivoting to the audience needs and wants.
I realised over the last 50 posts, that the most feedback and interaction comes from individuals or companies within the charity, medical, or creative sectors. Or, as I now call you (yes, you reading this!) a creative leader.
What even is a creative leader anyways?
You’re someone who thinks outside of the box, with passion and ideas. You want to change the world in a positive way, and you want to build connections and community through what you do -you’re a leader, even if you don’t have a following yet. You encourage others, inspire innovation and promote good ideas.
Sound familiar? Welcome to your little slice of the internet where business meets creativity with a bang, welcome to your Ideas Machine.
Iterate
So what do I do, and what does The Ideas Machine do that actually makes us suitable for creative leaders?
We have a focus on business untangling, how you can get those amazing (sometimes overwhelming) ideas out of your head and into a tangible action plan. Using tactics such as visualisation (please tell me you’re using Miro Board!) what you want, and working backwards to where you are right now and making your game plan. TIM (The Ideas Machine) is here to help with the universal niggles that all business leaders face, especially ones in creative fields and industries.
Why? Because when I set up my business, I did it alone, and I’ve already made so many of the mistakes, and learned more than a few lessons that I can share with you all.
Basically, I hope this will save you some ‘learning tax’.
See you next week!
